Better known for their hi-tech sports socks, Finland's UphillSport brand are using an innovative Recover textile recycle system as a part of a multi-step sustainability programme, retasking materials and including a clever colour-match in process to prevent the use of extra water, and chemicals. Despite being made from super-soft Tencel (produced from sustainable eucalyptus tree pulp) and previously-used fibres, the upcycled cotton gives these socks natural softness, and upcycled polyamide adds essential extra durability.
